Scheduling issue with 2028 season

I just entered the preseason portion of the 2028 season for the St. Louis Cardinals.
Had an issue with the 2027 as it featured every team only playing between 150 and 153 games with no interleague play.
Something I did not notice until it was too late.
I checked out the schedule for 2028 and it has the Cardinals only playing 150 games -- they played 153 in 2027 -- again with no interleague play.
I have regenerated the schedule multiple times and each time it comes up short of 162 and with no interleague play.
I have interleague games selected in settings, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
Any ideas how to fix this issue?

If you are on this screen and choose Generate Fictional Schedule you will get 150 G, if you choose Load Default Schedule you will get 162. Must be done in the preseason. I just tested. Played thru 1927 w/ 162 games, generated a fictional one in 1928 preseason, played 150, simmed to preseason 2029 and loaded default one and simmed thru end of 2029 and it was back to 162 G.

Are you in preseason?

If so, go to the options menu. Select edit league schedule. Select Actions. Select Import from File. Scroll down till you get till you see major_league_ml_c_2024.lsdl Select it and hit load.

If you haven't edited your league from the current MLB format, 2 subleagues of 15 teams, 3 divisions per subleague, 5 teams per division, this will load a 162 game schedule that includes interleague play.
