Help me make a decision on OOTP26

I've bought the last few versions and and imported my long-term sim into each. There are certain things that I'm looking for in my sim, none of which are provided by any single version. Those are outlined below.

Can someone help me understand if I would get these things in OOTP26? Either a quick data pull or an anecdotal "this is better / worse" in the new version would be extremely helpful. I'm seeing concerning threads posted about how the college players issue is still problematic in OOTP26, which is one of my main decision points.

For context, I'm running a fictional league based on modern day MLB set up with the exception of the minors. I have five minor league teams per pro team (R, Short A, A, AA, and AAA). Draft is 12 rounds with enough players for 20.

Quick Responses:

1. Its definitely worse right now, although I know they're working on it. I haven't been playing OOTP 26 so much as experimenting with it for this very reason, as the lack of college talent bugs me too much, but overall I have confidence they'll figure it out because of the rest of the game.

2. Similar to 25/ Good

3. Similar to 25/ Even Fewer

4. Similar, maybe even fewer

5. Similar, hard to say because I think there are still kinks with development

6. I like the Dev concept and functionality in this game much more than in 25, where IMO it was way to easy to become a talent factory of 80 grade players at every position. It feels far more true to real baseball in this version, albeit with the aforementioned issues with college players specifically. Once that gets figured out I'm moving to 26 full time because I feel like 25 has been figured out, mechanically.

7. Same, I adjust the number generated downwards but working just as well, mechanically.

I can also check some of these numbers after work for confirmation.

Thanks for your reply. #1 is the big one to me (and you too, clearly).

Has anyone fixed this problem with feeder leagues? I'm just using the default draft player pool but I wonder if you could set it up to get those guys to develop more quickly via a feeder system.

Be aware majority of complaints on players not developing is on overall/potential ratings and not the actual ratings that make up overall/potential.

In have yet to see any "complaint" show that these underdeveloped players ratings for BABIP, Avoid K's, Contact, Gap, Power, Eye, and how much they are below league average or what level those ratings compare to.

A players overall can be lower for many reasons that may or may not have anything to do with how they perform.
