Changes to defensive ratings not staying

OOTP Go 26 has been pretty buggy for me. Still having issues with rookies (1908 rookies are playing in 1907, etc), but now a new one. Using Fred Snodgrass as an example, I like to tweak players’ defensive ratings to add positions they historically played, or adjusting their ratings a bit to reflect that they played a little more.

I tweaked Snodgrass’ catcher ratings so he ended up at a 45 at catcher (rather than the 20 he started with). Fine, right? Well, the second I leave his player page where he has a 45 rating, and then come back, it has him back to 20 (even though his Editor page in Defense still has ratings to get him to 45). Weirdest thing I’ve seen in the game.

Also, you’ll see that his hitting and running ratings have also changed WHEN I NEVER TOUCHED THEM

If you are using scouting any ratings you edit don’t appear until the player is scouted again. I cant explain the batting ratings.

Did you go in and save once you made the changes? I do that out of caution in case the changes don't "take".
