Question on Team Abbreviations

I'm attempting to set up a game as the Oakland Athletics (For OOTP26), I've figured out most other issues with setting up the coliseum as the field and the logos/uniforms (except for the Kelly-Green Alt with Oakland Across w/o numbers but that's another story). The one issue I keep running into is with Historical Abbreviations. In the team settings the Abbreviation, alongside Historical Team ID and Historical Franchise ID are all set to OAK, Yet when I open up information on an old Oakland A's player, all it provides me with is the ATH abbreviation. With this I was wondering, is there any way to fix this or do I just deal with the ATH abbreviation.

Also, a quick side note any time I play in the game from when I start the game has OAK as the abbreviation.

The standard MLB save uses ATH as their abbreviation, I'm not sure where you're seeing OAK. I have not figured out a way to revert the abbreviation for past seasons without editing the player database
