Plate apperances, at-bats, sacrifice hits, catchers interference

I have been playing around with some custom Python tools for OOTP, and I have discovered a strange discrepancy in how the game is computing at least one of PA, AB, SH, or CI. Normally:

PA = AB + BB + HBP + SH + SF + CI

However, the game appears to either (1) not count SH or CI as plate appearances or (2) count SH and CI as at-bats. For example:

Player A is listed with 454 PA, 435 AB, 12 BB, 2 HBP, 6 SH, 5 SF, and 0 CI. Since 435 + 12 + 2 + 6 + 5 = 460, we've over by six plate appearances. That perfectly matches with the 6 SH. I have tested this in bulk on data downloaded from the game, and the numbers only match up if you don't include the game's SH and CI figures in the count.

Any thoughts on this?

Here's a screenshot for "proof". When SH and CI are included in the count, we get a discrepancy as high as 17, which corresponds to one player-season in my dataset that had 17 SH. When I remove them, the totals match exactly.

Did some sleuthing through game logs, and it appears that sacrifice bunts are *not* included in a player's plate appearance total!

Just thought I'd bump this thread! I'd love to hear from a developer on this if possible.

Thanks, we'll have a look and correct if there are issues.

I've run into as well, the game does not include SH in the PA totals. I stumbled upon this when I compared the csv export (which has the correct PA totals) to the figures showing in the game.
