Remove A Player From Waivers

How do I remove a player from waivers once their waiver and DFA period is over? Even after the player clears waivers and their DFA period is over I still can't remove them from waivers. This is true even after I have assigned them to a team (completing the DFA action). If I try to drag them from the waiver box to the bottom of the screen as it says to do, then I get a message saying that the player is not on waivers. The only way I've found to fix this is to enter Commissioner mode and manually set the player as having cleared irrevocable waivers (a check box on the editor page). It seems like there should be a way to remove such a player from the waiver box. All of this is on the team Organization tab.

Doesn't it say "cleared waivers" next to the player in question? It does in my game. IOW they are not in jeopardy of being claimed because they are not on waivers, they have cleared. I currently have a RP on my waiver list, designated as "cleared waivers", that was demoted to AAA after his waiver/DFA stint. He is off the DFA list, pitching at AAA, and on the waiver list as cleared.

I'm not sure why some players remain on the list? IIRC in older versions I think all players stayed on it for quite a while. In newer versions, at least in my experience, some come off it right away while others remain for several days. In any case it's never affected how I am able to use my players.

Sweed, I'm sure you're right that there is no chance of the player being claimed as it does say that they have cleared waivers. However, it seems like they should be removed from that list entirely once they have cleared waivers or that there should at least be a way (shortcut menu?) to remove them myself.
