Card Building Stream Tomorrow!

Good evening, y'all! Tomorrow at noon ET we'll have a special stream on the OOTP Developments Twitch channel, where our Content Director, Paul Sporer, will be creating some cards LIVE! Here's how he explained it in our Discord this evening:

We’re going to try something new (at least new to me) tomorrow on the main channel starting around 11am CT: live card building!! We’ll go through the whole process of picking players (from a pool focused on players who served in the military for a Memorial Day tie-in), picking the tier/year, and then working through the card shape itself based on the stats posted that year. This will be interactive with chat and I look forward to discussing who we pick and where we slot them with y'all. I’m leaving the number of cards a bit open ended because I’m not entirely sure how long this’ll take, but it should be a blast.

The cards we build on stream will then be available in packs tomorrow afternoon/evening (depending on when we finish, of course). I’ve got some ideas of my own already in terms of positions/tiers, but if you know of a position at a particular tier level that really needs some love, please share it [here in this thread] so I can get a jump on looking for potential fits!

I also have one player pre-selected, but I have not yet decided on tier/year. We’re going to run a Ted Williams for sure. Obviously, his career is laden with perfect-level seasons and he can facilitate multiple perfects so if we land on a 100-101 tomorrow, that doesn’t preclude him from a >101 down the line. He’s had gold & diamond offerings in the past so those tiers are very much on the table and his worst season – 1959 – is no better than bronze & probably even an iron as a righty-killer w/trash defense (114 OPS+. -0.2 WAR). We’ll figure it out tomorrow when we DO IT LIVE!!!
