June 23rd - Offseason signing window

Hello,

Fairly new player here. Every year, on June 23rd, there seems to be an offseason signing window that opens with interesting young players (drafted players who never signed, I guess ?)

My question is... where can I find the list of the available players on this date ? I went to my "free agent center" option, and it still appears only the UFA players that went unsigned for the year...

I'm guessing you are referring to the Restricted free agents who have not yet received a qualifying offer. That should open on June 15th.

You can see the list of available RFAs in the Free agent center. Just hit the filter button at the top left, set the filter to Restricted FA and remove Unrestricted FA.

Fair warning; these free agents aren't exactly "free" if they accept your offer. The team who currently owns their right have 7 days to match or better your offer. If they don't you'll get the player but also send draft picks as compensation to his former team. The amount and level of the picks vary based on the contract price you offered. The higher the price the larger the compensation will be.

The time period you're referring to relates to the 'Unsigned' tab from the team drop down - this period is for players whose draft rights you own but are as yet unsigned, hence the name - on this screen you will be able to see basic player information such as name, age and position but also more useful information like the expiration date of these player rights under your ownership - the key is to check that tab when you enter this period each year and be sure to sign players that you are interested in bring to your roster (you can also right click the players and relinquish their rights from the action menu there) before their rights expire!
