How Do You Get The AI To Fill Team Rosters

It's Opening Day.
How do you get the AI to fill up the Reserve Rosters?
I go to League Settings and tell it to "Flll All Team Rosters", but it doesn't do it.

Does this setting only apply to Active Rosters?

How do you fill Reserve Rosters without manually doing it.

The AI is in control of the teams.

It won't fill reserve rosters.

The way I've worked around this in the past is to temporarily make the active rosters larger, fill them, then set it back.

Only drawback is you can only set rotations to 6-men so unless you 6 SP between active and reserve, there's still a bit of manual work involved.

Thank you. Appreciate the help.

In the past I have never had this problem. I set the number for the active roster at 21 and the reserve roster at 21 and the AI would balance them.

I played the first month of the season. The AI has now filled the Reserve Roster with the proper number of players.

Apparently it waits until the first games have been played each season to fill up the Reserve Roster.

However, the Reserve Rosters still have too many players with lousy ratings that will never make the active roster.
I think I will have to delete them myself and sign free agents to replace them.
Boy, that's a lot of work. It will be about 2400 players all total.

Surely someone in OOTP Development has some idea of how this part of the game should work.

Sure would appreciate some help in this matter.

Eugene, do you use financials in your game?

Yes, I use financials I just don't get involved.. I let the AI handle everything. The only time I get involved is when unproductive aging players stay on the rosters 2-3 years. Also when the reserrve rosters are glutted with player with very poor ratings.

I noticed the teams were overloaded with players in their mid 30s and not many players in their early 20s.

I often had had to created free agents with average and good ratings to have new rookies with fairly good ratings on each team.

On a few occasion the Rookies of the Year were just fair players. Few were impact players.
