Outfielder Throws

It seems like too many outfielder throws to the plate are cutoff and relayed to the catcher. I understand cutting it off and trying to get a runner trying to take an extra base but throws to home should be let go.

I agree with the OP. There's something weird going on with OF throws being cut off and then relayed to the same base the original throw was aimed at.

For years, I've raised issues related to OF throws during beta testing. I believe Matt tried to make some changes. I'm afraid he might've made things worse.

Yeah. Don't bother fixing anything. Just leave it as crappy as it is. And don't worry if the guy runs through wall, it's STILL a homerun. So don't even try to make it better. Animation: safe at 2nd. Data says he's out. Well then how about fixing the damn thing already?

I'm hoping the in-game experience will be a focus of OOTP27 development. It could use a concerted effort to clean things up.

If the players stay on the field I know they were safe and if they leave the field I know they were out. I suppose my expectations should be higher!
