First Live Update is Monday, May 5

Hi, everyone! We have another announcement to make today. We will have our first Live Updated scheduled for Monday, May 5! That means Live cards will see changes to ratings, including the overall. Please be aware of this for your tournament roster building and Card Shop activity. The update will include performances up to Wednesday, April 30.

any chance card position corrects are part of the update such as players that are SP but card shows reliever? Or just an incorrect position such as Alex Bregman back to his actual 3b as opposed to his projected new position of 2b that never actually manifested (still has yet to play a single out at 2b this season)?

I suppose most of that doesn't matter TOO much to most of the PT game...until you are playing PT live.

Position changes are part of the update, so look out for some RPs to move to SPs, etc. It'll make PT Live a little more interesting, and tournaments and PDs with Live cards will see some changes because of this.

Are there limits to card alterations? For example I have a Max Scherzer card but he's only pitched 3 horrible innings this year. Will he be nerfed to oblivion.

Scherzer is probably OK to stay Gold. Card ratings will still be about 5/6 projections for the first update.

The really big update question is how low can Tim Anderson go? Moved off shortstop, sticking .179/.220/.196, and the only reason he gets playing time is that Mike Trout is injured (of course) and the Angels' preferred second baseman is now manning center field.

Since we've got 101-105's, maybe Anderson can be the first 39!

Since the update PT AI now has 5 relievers in my pen instead of a traditional 8. Hate this!

The current week is being played in a 1967 environment, so you likely don't need 8 relievers for that era!

Dropped 1 this week. Probably not enough but bench is strong. RPs sitting there, doing nothing.

I'm running with 4 MR and 1 stopper, still have 1 of those MRs who hasn't seen an inning yet.

My biggest hurdle will be remembering to fix this when we return to modern era next week, haha...

In the past I recall seeing a list of players whose numbers changed. I could be totally mistaken on that, but is there such a list for the updates this week?
