Icon for ineligible players at minor league level

I don't delegate anything to the AI except lineups and rotations, so every opening day I get a message about multiple ineligible players at A ball and then again for rookie league. It would be nice to be able to see on one screen who needs to go up or out during the off-season, instead of having to check every single player page.

It would be nice if the game looked ahead to next year's opening day for minor league teams and issued a report. Love the idea and hope they do something with it.

One thing you can do is build a filter to find those players now as a workaround using "pro years" and "age". For instance my Low A is set to 4 pro yrs and 23 yrs as max age. Go to team page>roster and run a filter to find all players that have 5 pro yrs or are 24 yrs old.

You may have to account for upcoming birthday and whether a player will age a year before the season depending on when you use the filter. For pro yrs, if you wait for pro years to update for the players (I think it does either at beginning of offseason or free agency?) you should be good to go.

Thanks, I've also noticed the game "grandfathers" players who start the season at a level then age out, but enforces the rule if they get injured or you promote them and change your mind mid season.

Yes, I believe age on opening day has always been the determining factor. Not sure how this is done IRL but I would think if on the IL in the league you started in you shouldn't be "aged out" coming off said IL. I don't recall ever having an issue with a player on my IL in the minors. Maybe I've been lucky and never had it come up?

Now if you are promoted up the chain? Then yeah, coming back I could see not being allowed in real life or OOTP. Again, no idea about real life.
