1904 rookie facepack ready

Completed this a week ago but just managed to upload to BBSC tonight. It includes photos for many of the players who made their major league debut in 1904. The bmp version is uploaded at BBSC and should appear there in a few days. Below is the jpeg version for anyone who can't wait. (You have to convert all images to bmp for them to work in OOTP)

Here is part 2 of the jpeg version. I hope to get some more seasons done in the next week.

1901-1903 are available in the OOTP5 section of BBSC. 1920-1979 facepacks are in the OOTP4 section. Link is in my signature for those interested.

the 1905 facepack has also been sent to BBSC. 1906 and 1907 hopefully over the weekend. 1905 set includes images of Ty Cobb, Moonlight Graham and personal favourite Rube Oldring.

Btw, if anyone else wants to host them in either jpeg or bmp format just PM upload instructions for your site.

I went to BBSC, the 1901-1903 facepacks bring up an image stating "image hotlinked with BBSC". Are they having probems? Is there anywhere else to get the 01-03 facepacks (and the 1915, is it?)

I just had no problems downloading the 1901-1903 packs in the OOTP5 section of BBSC.

1904 and 1905 should be posted in the same spot sometime in the next few days. I have not done 1915 yet but I have completed facepacks for players who debuted between 1920 and 1979 (about 4700 different player photos in all). The link to the 1920-79 facepacks is in my signature.

I will complete the missing years (1906 thru 1919 rookies) over the next few weeks).

No promise on timeframe but I will finish them all - up to 1919 which complete my 1901-79 collection.

I usually just have time to work on them over the weekend. Right now I have completed last names from A-J of the 1906 rookies, about 25 images so far. I expect 1906 will be done this weekend and if the weather is bad and I dont get a chance to finish painting my deck I may have 1907 done as well.

Here is one more from 1901 I just found. P/OF Ike Van Zandt played for the Giants, Cubs and Browns from 1901-1905 appearing in a total of 100 games.

He was not included in my original 1901 set so here he is below in a photo from 1905 while with the Browns.

here's one that slipped past you Tiger...

He debuted in 1896, then stopped playing MLB until 1899...and in my historical league has become one of the best pitchers and a monster 1/2 punch with "Big Six" Matthewson for the New York Giants

cool, I am still in 1905, Cy Young is slipping, Wee Willie Keeler doesn't want to age and the two best pitchers are Jim St. Vrain for the Cleveland Naps and Bill Reidy of NY Giants...go figure.

Also Cobb in a first for me is hitting .270 and has been caught stealing 11 times and has only 7 Stolen bases...in August!

And that's with the editing of his speed and SA to A.
