relievers in the bullpen

I usually play out most of my teams games out against an AI manager.

When I warm up any of my receivers in the bullpen, I can visually see them and see there status (cold-warming-ready-tiring). Then I can put them in the game, sit them down, etc., according to how the game is transpiring and their status in the bullpen.

But here's my question:
Why can't I see who is warming up in my opponent's bullpen (managed by AI)?
Is the AI manager actually warming someone up and I just can't see it?
-or-
Can the AI managers bring in relievers anytime they want and they will always be "ready"

When and who I pinch hit is sometimes greatly affected by who is in the opponent's bullpen and whether or not they are ready. Especially when I'm resting a starter, I might pinch hit him early if the situation warrants and no one is warming up. Also, when platooning players, I might substitute for the Lefty/Righty advantage earlier than I normally would depending on what is going on in the opponent's bullpen.

As it is now, the AI brings in the reliever "straight from the bench to the mound" in my game.

Is this something I can remedy by changing something in the game's settings?
Or is this something the developers would need to address?

The AI does not warm up pitchers. It has been requested many times over the years. I'm fine with the AI getting an advantage against the human player in this area of the game.

I hope at some time they add it, and the AI is able to handle all of the variables in a realistic manner. I'm not optimistic, and that's not a knock on the development team. I've played many games over the years that do have the AI option. I'm not sure any of them, including The Show, get it right, or even good enough.

My 2 cents. YMMV.

Thank you the info.

I kind of figured that was the way the AI manager worked but it is great to get confirmation.

The computer manager needs more help. Let's not take away any that already exists.
