Bullpen stamina and recovery

Is anyone else playing out each game and noticing the stamina and recovery of your bullpen guys?

I'm only 2 weeks into the season but my pen is absolutely gassed. If they throw 20-25 pitches they don't get above 80% rested until the 3rd day.

Do you just keep running them out there every other day and hope for the best?

I get a starter needing a few days after they throw 85-100 pitches but I expect the relievers to bounce back quicker.

Also, is there any performance drop between a reliever rested at 90% vs 80%?

On the Stats/AI page of League Settings, what's the setting for Pitcher Stamina?

A reliever at 80% is perfectly fine to pitch.

I always felt the game punishes relievers too much when they pitch in back-to-backs (they take too long to recover), but if the game allowed for faster recovery it would be too easy to get relievers to pitch more than 90 innings a season.

Also, most real life teams are constantly shuttling relievers between the majors and AAA. It's perfectly normal to need to call somebody up after 1-2 weeks just because the bullpen is gassed.

(assuming you are playing in the modern MLB)
