I tried it in the 2021 ediition and found that it did not work well and easily so in 2022 I switched to the Fastspring and I found it much better and I have stuck with it ever since

For sure, I mean they are practically giving it away for free at this point and people are still complaining. I hope OOTP27 will be better, rough year.

It's the only way I'll buy the game. So easy and works without any effort from the user. Pretty much takes care of itself. Patches don't overwrite mods, and the mod workshop makes adding historical stadiums, unis, face gens, etc. as easy as pressing a button or two.

Some may say "but patches are automatic and can't be avoided. I want to stick with version X". Fair enough and a reason to go with Fastspring. As for me I've never had a version where I didn't want to be fully patched.
