How do i change minor league affiliation for MLB teams?

I am looking to change/add minor affiliation for a created MLB team and i can't seem to find out how to assign minor league affiliation for big league teams. Any help would be greatly appreciated

There may be more to it depending upon the specifics of the type of game you have created, but generally speaking you can go to Game Settings > League Settings > League & Teams and - assuming you have your minor league selected in the dropdown that's under the big green "Continue" button, you'll see your league's teams on the lower left of the panel, and from there you can change/assign affiliates.

To be clear, if you wanted to change a Pacific Coast League's major league affiliate, you would want to select the PCL as the league. IOW, you accomplish this by changing the minor league team and with whom it's affiliated...

I may be wrong about this, but I believe that if you simply change the affiliation of a minor league team to another team, all the players currently on that team move to the new affliated team. When I've done this in the past I've moved the players on the team (i.e. the double A team) to a different level so the roster for the team I'm changing affiliation for is empty. After the change is made I have the AI do a minor league set-up to redistribute the minor league players to the appropriate level.

Awesome! Keep in mind that if you are running a historical league and have enabled automatic expansion (which really means automatic historical evolution), then to keep things from reverting each year (and other issues), you will have additional steps... If that's what you're doing, report back and I'll explain...
