Alternate Uniforms in Facegen pictiures

Hi there, maybe this has been answered elsewhere, but as someone who only plays the game on 2D mode (my old Mac laptop can't really handle 3D mode), is there a way to enable the game to show alternate uniforms on the facegen photos of the various players? I have a 20-season long fictional league that's now into the 1960s. I created an alternate uniform for my team and I was disappointed to find out that it didn't actually do anything for me in practically: I set the game to have them wear the uniforms on Wednesdays and Saturdays at home but when I actually played the game the players were just wearing their normal home uniforms in their Facegen photos. I did look at 3D mode to see if it was under error, but the players are in fact wearing their alternates in 3D.

So my question is: Is there some option I have to click to enable the Facegen guys to be wearing their alternate uniforms in a photos, or is this not an option? I love the idea of creating a ton more alternates for my fictional world but it doesn't really make much sense for me to do the work if they aren't going to show up in the game mode I use (plus, I like the detail of seeing the caps and the jerseys anyway, which you don't really get in 3D mode to begin with).
