AI Sets Tactics bug
Posted in main forum, moving here since I think it is a bug. When I press "AI Sets Tactics" it sets shooting, passing, hitting, and tempo to rare/low. This results in games with very low shots on goal so I don't think this is correct.

Can you screenshot your staff profile page (or that of your head coach, if you're playing in GM-only mode) as well? Those choices are heavily influenced by the staff preferences, I'd like to see what combination there is resulting in this.

Thanks. I'm getting higher settings for Hitting and Passing when I use AI Setup Tactics, but Tempo and Shooting always remain on the lowest option. The lack of emphasis on Shooting I can see, since you're an expansion team, but it seems to be more common around the league than I'd like, so we'll take a look at that. Same with tempo, but in that case you're not even a particularly slow team, so I'm not sure why it's staying so low.
Edit: Ah, I think I see the tempo problem, it's tied a little to closely to the number of defencemen with offensive-type roles, we can adjust that. Shooting is looking a bit more complex to unravel, I think I'm going to have to make some more indirect changes there. Last edited by JeffR; 03-04-2025 at 10:26 AM. |
