Using OOTP25 rosters imported into OOTP26

Is there a way to import an OOTP 25 game and roster set into OOTP 26 using the new OOTP 26 roster set. I would like to be able to use my current league setup and roster set but use the OOTP 26 player ratings.

You'll be able to import a 25 game into 26, but you can't have it use the 26 ratings.

So what I would have to do is use the new OOTP 26 game and edit all the players onto their respective teams that I have in my current OOTP 25 game? But I lose all history I guess, there must be a way to do this somehow.

Or can the import/export function be used somehow in the settings: import mlb rosters, export mlb rosters, import player stats, export player stats, export league structure ?

No, it can't be done, unless you want to edit every single person. There is no function to click that will update players ratings to what they will be in 26, it is just now how the import function works. If you want players with 26 ratings then you need to start a new game in 26.

In theory the export function would work if the PlayerID's haven't changed, though this would mean any new player ID's for 26 wouldn't be updated.

This would move all players to their respective teams as well. The only drawback is none of the transactions will be recorded as happened so player history for 25 will be off.

When you import from 25 to 26. All your league settings stay the exact same. Certain features that require a restart will not be upgraded. Your players won't update to their 26 version. But if a change is made to how the ratings work, the 25 version will be updated. Last year ratings went from 0-250 scale, to 0-550 scale. But if you have Garrett Crochet in your league as a lefty reliever, upon import he does not become an ace starter. Hope this helps. I have imported my league from version 17 and going strong.
