Abbreviations

What do the abbreviations mean along the top of the roster, specifically STU and STA? And why are they grouped in pairs? I cannot post a picture.

STU is the stuff rating for the pitchers on the roster and STA is the stamina rating for the pitchers. CON/STU means the contact rating for batters and the stuff rating for pitchers; FLD/STA is the fielding rating for batters at their assigned position and stamina for pitchers. Combining them saves space.
