How do pull the goalie/insert 6th attacker?

I couldn't figure this one out.

When manually playing a game, how do you pull the goalie and insert the 6th attacker?

On the "Special" tab I have pull goalie trailing by 1 and 2 both set at "normal". The game in question I was trailing 2-1 and the goalie wasn't pulled; I paused and tried to figure out some way of doing it but couldn't.

If it matters, I'm not using the "AI choose goalie" feature.

You cannot pull the goalie yourself
You can however specify the aggressiveness of pulling the goalie

Thanks, that would certainly explain why I couldn't figure it out. I do see where you can choose how aggressive to be at pulling the goalie - I have both checked as "normal".
