Huge amount of trades on the day of Salary cap cushion

There is a lot of trades (34) being done the day the salary cap cushion ends.
Its like the "AI" not having the abilty to plan the salaries ahead, and every team try to fix it in panic the last day.

And players they have traded for earlier in preseason, they now trade away at this day. Happens very often.

I havent seen this like this in erlier FHM-versions. Something with the AI-trades are so broken this year. Its like every AI-GM forgot what they just did.

Looks like the result of the change this year to have AI attempt to trade players rather than lose them for nothing when they have to put them on waivers.

The salary cap cushion is definitely the issue. There is not planning for that in the AI so they all max out to the 10% cushion and have an issue later.

Maybe need to change the 10% cushion to be a little different...say:

Only top 23 skaters count towards the cap (like NFL does). Allows for roster expansion without blowing up cap

10% cap can still be in place but only "used" for the 24th+ skaters

Only allow a team to sign X contracts that are not two way (say 27? 28? etc)
