Me and my brother always get to around 2060-70 and then the sim speed is just so slow it's unplayable. Is there things i can do to keep the file at a stable rate or speed? Like manually limiting how big a file gets or choosing unplayable leagues for all but the NHL?
I've even tried to manually copy players over to a new save to keep the continuum going. We want to go for generations. (This is absolutely nothing against the game, it's our favorite game to play, obviously ❤️) |

True, but this is not easy to solve (may even be impossible). It's caused by database bloat, mostly (at least in my opinion) and you can optimize data loading only so much for a common user device. At some point, you would have to cut some of the data out to keep going - and that would mean deleting stuff like old player records, etc. which kind of defeats the purpose of playing long games and building long dynasties as past some point, you wouldn't be able to look back anymore. At that point, you may as well just start another save.
