Free Agent Preferences

I would love to see some additional Free Agent preferences included in the mix when signing players to your team. Like for example--

(1) Team Preference - maybe you can include a list of teams that a player would prefer to play. Maybe the engine could include things like hometown preference, where a player played college. This is already included some with how difficult to sign a player, but it would be cool to see maybe team preferences.

(2) Incentives - maybe you could include some additional incentive options. Not just for an All Start appearance, or Cy Young winner. But why not include additional perks for finishing in the top-ten of different categories.

(3) League Preference - some players end up signing in Foreign Leagues, but maybe you could include this in contract negotiations. Like if a player wants to play in Japan, maybe it will cost you more to keep that player playing in the MLB.

(4) Others - maybe you could include some random things that add cost to your budget like additional training money you have to give a player. Maybe the player would like a new car, or new apartment, ect. Sounds like a gimmick, but maybe it would be fun adding this into the mix.

Maybe there are things that I am missing, so maybe add a few things that I am missing here on this thread.

I read that one reason Juan Soto signed with the Mets was because they were willing to give him a free Skybox suite at the stadium, while the Yankees were not. (Judge gets one at a discount, but he pays for it.) So your idea definitely has a basis in reality. Only problem, so many options; cars, apartments, houses, memberships, parties, etc., ad inf.

Chemistry with other players.
Also Fictional players have sons , nephews, grandsons etc who play. Those players may have a bias towards wanting to play with their dads old team.
