I like to use "Union" for my leagues since its not used usually outside of Rugby. I like to name my divisions are random ideas. I have a Football Manager American soccer pyramid with divisions named after abolitionists. I've also used authors, notable geographic features, and one game has completely made up last names from a random name generator. It sort of suggests a hidden history.
