How do I Change a New Rule?

My league just randomly changed from 5 years service time to be eligible for free agency. I do not want this, I want it to stay at 6 years. How do I change it back?

are you playing historical mode? It will change the rules each year to whatever happened in real life. You can manually update each year under League Settings->Financials but to stop financials from changing each year you'd need to go to League Settings->Historical and uncheck Import adjusted financial settings each year.

Since it moved the Free Agency years from 6 to 5, this is likely League Evolution and not historical.

You can adjust the Minimum Service Years for Free Agency setting under League Settings --> Financials --> Financial & Free Agency Settings (left side).

If you want to disable League Evolution, that option is in League Settings --> Options (first check box on left side).
