Trade bug between NHL teams
Something seems strange with the trade system between the clubs.
Penguins and Bruins have made eight trades with each other in half a season. It feels very wrong? See attached pictures. |

Is it just me or are the Bruins trading the same draft picks over and over again there, after already trading them for different pieces?

Technically possible, but it's only really likely to happen in a situation where the number of teams who can complete a trade (i.e., aren't maxed out on contract numbers or cap hit, or constrained by NMC's/NTC's etc.) is very small, and that definitely shouldn't be the case in 2024. Checking some test games, I see the Bruins in particular are making a very high number of trades in the first season; we'll try to see why it's doing that (and apparently evading the restrictions on excessive trade activity in the process.)
