This is not exactly a rant, but I'm frustrated.

During my second season in Swedish Hockeyallsvenskan (GM only) I was doing great, the rebuild I was set to do for Tingsryd was ahead of schedule and I was at the top of the league. Finances good, prospect pool good, I had two kids drafted and on NHL contracts.

With ten games to go I was fired, and I don't understand why.
Yes, I had some problems with harmony and cliques but the harmony meter was never below 80% ish. The fans were happy too.

Every time I got my owner report in the mail they said they were satisfied, the fans were happy and that "I should ignore any rumors that they are interviewing my potential replacement".

I honestly don't get it. Has anyone figured this mechanic out?

I really don't want to check the "can't be fired" box but at this point I feel kinda robbed of the time and energy I poured into this save.

Yeah I'd post this in the bug/tech support forum - there was issues with premature/unjustified GM and Coach firings but I was sure that the fixes for those were in the last two hotfixes put out (assuming those fixes were applied at the time of this happening in your save).
