FHM11 Historical - Issues with signing prospects

Hi, started with the Oilers in the first WHA season, after every draft I cannot sign my draft picks as ”the wha honors junior/college contracts”. In the end all of them signs for the nhl teams instead. Only option was to sign players from europe or players that nhl teams released. The same happened in the underage draft 78 but instead ”the player is too young to join wha”, which is weird because some of them played irl in the 78/79 season.

Fast forward to 1979 and after the nhl merger i wanted to sign a prospect that was signed to an AHL team and was met with the same message ”the nhl honors ahl contracts”.

Unsure about the rules in this era and how it’s supposed to work so maybe it’s not a bug, but Gretzky should be able to play in 78 at least.

Uh-oh, I made some changes to the transfer rules settings in historical in the final pre-release data update, and it looks like the data got corrupted somehow - the settings in the database right now definitely aren't what I had changed them to, and they match up with what you're describing. We'll get that fixed ASAP.
