FHM11 Officially Released!

FHM11 has now been released, and can be purchased on the Steam store at https://store.steampowered.com/app/2936410 for $44.99, with a 10% discount for purchasing this week.

If you buy the game on Steam, please consider giving it an early review; positive reviews can make a significant diffeerence in the game's visiblity on Steam in the days following release, which can have a very big impact on sales and our ability to keep making the game.

The Fastspring pricing and discount are the same as Steam's.

If you haven't purchased OOTP25 yet, it's available as a bundle (at a 10% discount) with FHM25 on the Steam store page. Addiitonally, if you'd like to complete your collection of past FHM's on Steam, FHM10 has now been added to the FHM Legacy Bundle, which also includes FHM3 through FHM9, for a 50% discount on their regular prices.

A few notes on the release:

-Please report any apparent bugs or other problems in the Tech Support forum: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...lay.php?f=4039
-Rosters are as of NHL opening night, November 10 (not the Prague opener 4 days earlier); we'll be releasing the first version of the Current start option, with updated rosters, in mid-late November
-We've been working out some late issues with AI trading frequency in the last couple of days after a late bug fix drastically altered the volume of trades upwards. It seems to be in a relatively good place now, but we're definitely not done tweaking it yet.
-Steam Workshop is up and running (and the setup worked on the first try for the second time in 11 years)
-Remember, the default Windows installation location for the game's data (including saves) has changed, it's no longer in the \Documents folder, but rather in \users\(your Windows username)(your Windows username)\AppData\Local\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 11 (the quickest way to find it is to go into Settings from the start screen, then Troubleshooting, and select "Open Customizable Data Folder", that'll open the main data folder and you can see e.g. the saved_games subfolder in there
-We'll likely issue a post-release hotfix update fairly quickly to fix the first reported bugs, unless we get remarkably few reports of problems; that'll probably be next week unless there's something utterly game-breaking found, but it's been a while since we've seen anything like that in testing
-The first full update will be in mid-late November (including the current roster start option); the first content update adding new features will be out in mid-December

I am still confused on installing the files, I need to install Hockeyplayers mods once I download the game. Any easier way to find the files once downloaded. Thanks for any info, old guy here.

Just bought FHM11 on fastSpring and got the download.. for it only to be FHM10. Can this be fixed please?

It'll install FHM11, that's why we were holding the download links up, to fix the text and images in the installer. The Fastspring page must've let it go early. If you want to re-download I'll post the link above in a few minutes, but installing the one you have now will give you the same thing.

I thought that too and went through with the download but I'm litterally looking at FHM10 on my laptop now that it has been installed.

Odd, what link on Fastspring did you get it from, exactly? Sebastian just told me the store was briefly active for a minute, which is probably when you hit it, but still should have only given you the FHM11 version with the wrongly-labelled installer. But no worries, just download from the links above, try installing it to confirm you got the right one, and then when it asks you for the code send me a PM and we'll get it activated for you without needing to re-buy.

Very odd. But go ahead and grab the correct version and try installing that, using the code you got on the receipt. If that one doesn't work (and I suspect it won't), PM me.

I downloaded from the link, windows version, and FHM 10 was downloaded not 11. I don't see how this was fixed. Just happened. Never used Steam, Should I try it? I did not buy the game first, which I usually do, to see if the link worked. If you purchase the game via Fastspring will you get a different link? Nice why to start!

Jeff in ur stream the other day I know that was window and not full screen how do we make window mode full screen if that’s even possible?

From the start screen, go to Settings, then switch the Display Mode to full screen.

I am terrible with computers but enjoy this game is there a simple way of finding the data folder. I tried following the instructions can find troubleshoot can find the user file but am not finding the other folders. Any help would be appreciated

Start You Game. Click on Settings along the bottom. Click on Troubleshooting. Click on 'Open Customizable Data Folder'.
