How to reset league to beginning of season?
Steve (or anyone who knows how to do it),
How do I reset a 'hosed' league to start over from the beginning of the season? Thanks, Brian |

If anyone has experienced a similar problem, this is what i did to fix it.
1. Click File->Restore League 2. Your previously backed up league will be restored. Note: My league was on season 2034, but the last one 'backed up' was year 2006. So, what I did was make a copy of 'Sun League.lg' and place it in the same folder of my regular league. As such, Windows XP named it 'Copy of Sun League.lg'. 3. Load the Copy of 'XXX.lg' 4. If you don't experience a crash - congrats! It worked! Notes: I'm not sure if this is luck, or some 'snake oil' type solution - but it's worth a try. Email at red_merc@yahoo.nospam.com if you have questions or need advice. (remove nospam) Thanks, Brian |

Another way to get the league to the start of the season is to open the League Setup screen and find the Reset Season option. This will erase the current seasons stats and move the league date back to opening day. (However any trades or player development that happened during the previously simmed part of the season will remain)

I can't remember if this problem still exists or was fixed in a patch, but you may also have to clear out any player, injury, league history items that took place.
