Game crashes while importing historical minor leagers

Ive been simming a historical league starting in 1871.Not controlling anything just letting the game do its thing and see what happens. Everything went smoothly until October of 1990 and now the game crashes every time the historic minors and players are imported. It gets about halfway through importing the players and then crashes. Done this now half a dozen times. Anyone else have this problem? Is there a solution?

Try loading today's patch. If nothing else, it will reinstall things like the milb database (in case something got corrupted outside of the .lg save file).

I am having a similar issue in my solo league. 60 year old league now the game just shuts down when it tries to import rookies for draft. I installed the new patch

We updated some parts of the historical database. I would suggest to verify that you have all the files updated correctly (in Steam, you can use the function to verify files. If you bought the fastpsring version, there's a function in the File Menu). As well if you are running off a custom data folder, to make sure that the updated files were copied over.

If you are still running into issues, you can upload your files to us (https://support.ootpdevelopments.com...p-developments) and we can investigate if the is some other interaction with the changes that is causing issues.

I tried to change my directories to the default ones but it still crashes if I try to import the historical rookie draft class so I uploaded the files to your site "ea2.lg.rar"

I think there was an issue in packing or uploading the file - it appears incomplete. Could you try again, perhaps?

I am also having this problem - confirmed via Steam that my files are up-to-date. As soon as it gets to the "Importing Minor League Players" portion on the Draft Pool Announcement day, the game crashes at 0% progress.

For what it's worth, I tested out unchecking the "Import and Maintain Real Minor Leagues" option or whatever it's called, and unchecking that allowed the draft pool to be created without issue, so it seems to be directly related to the minor leagues.

I'm uploading my league file titled "WBL.zip" to the FTP server.

For the moment, if you disable threading (if you go to File->Settings->Expert), does it allow the game to proceed for you? With threading disabled, I think that should avoid one potential problem case we see now from this.
