Reed Hall Of Famer Join Date: Oct 2013 Posts: 2,353	Historical/Random, acquiring FA. When playing Random or Historical, without minors, teams should acquire a FA if they don’t have a realistic backup for a position. For example, if a team only has 1 qualified catcher (ie. someone that actually played the position IRL), then it should be a priority for the team to acquire a qualified catcher via free agency, trade, or draft ASAP. Game SHOULD NOT be using an outfielder or someone that never played the position as a backup (or primary) if there are qualified FAs.
