Feeder leagues/fictional players

In my Northwoods feeder league, to fill out some of the rosters that were not full, I used the 'fill teams with fictional players' feature. My question is, do these fictional roster filler players disappear after the season ends, or are they now permanently in the game to enter the draft class or free agency?

They stay.

I prefer the “use ghost players” option. You can still play the games without messing up the player pool.
