FaceGen Not Loading

I recently updated to the latest patch (25.7.80). I have created two new standard games since then.

In the first game, FaceGen was loading normal until I opened the game today. When I went into the file today, any team I had not yet played did not have any FaceGen (you can still manually load each FaceGen for individual players, but they do not automatically load).

To see if the file was somehow corrupted, I created a brand new standard game this morning. None of the FaceGen are automatically loading now.

Any direction to help with this?

Are you talking about Facegens for historical players or fictional players (or players without a .fg file)?

If you mean Facegens for fictional players, go to the Game Settings / Facegen tab and change "None" to "MLB only" or "All Players". It's the top option on that screen.

No, I'm talking about current players in a 2024 standard game. I was playing a season and had FaceGens for the team I was playing (Cubs) as well as the two teams I had played against (Rangers & Rockies). When I loaded the file today, there were no FaceGens for any other team.

I started a new 2024 game (as the Rockies), and no team had FaceGens displaying. All players were black.

I have the ability to go into each player and manually find the corresponding FaceGen, but I'm wondering why they aren't displaying in the first place. What broke?

When you load from the player editor, is it as simple as going to "auto-Refresh" or do you have to navigate somewhere to load an individual facegen?

Also, go to the Start Screen, Settings, Troubleshooting, click "Open folder with customizable data" and open the fg_files folder and tell me how many files are in there.

Then, if you are familiar with posting images, a screenshot of that Game Settings / Facegen tab so all the settings are shown.

Apparently, much like any normal IT issue, the issue resolved itself as soon as I asked an expert. I rebooted my computer for a different reason, started a new file so I could troubleshoot according to your steps, and lo and behold all the FaceGens are back.
