Simulation Speed

After the patch, simulation speed has slowed down a lot... Was this affected by the addition of Drive for the Pennant mode?

sim speed does slow down a bit as data is accumulated, but takes more than a handful of years to do that.

consider time of year. if a bunch of MiL leages end around the same time, there's extra crunching going on etc...

I think it is only fair to assume that they are reporting a 1:1 impact on performance.

I really wish that the first instinct here wasnÂ’t so often to patronize the original poster by making her explicitly report that they have considered every obvious Baseball 101 concept.

Is it me or does the game seem to take longer when saving from week to week after the latest update also?

I've experienced the same. Longer sim times and longer save times.

I considered that in mind, of course. I've noticed that the time it takes to run during similar years in the same setting has increased. I could be mistaken, but this is the first time I've ever felt weird about sim speed while repeating same process after every patch.

Saving, loading, it all seems slower after the update. Nothing major, but it's noticeable.
