New version 25.7.80 is very slow

I don't know if this a bug or a feature, but when I am simming without manager interaction the simulation speed of this latest release (and v25.7.79) is much slower now than the previous releases. Noticeably slower.

I am wondering whether the Pennant Drive module has anything to do with this and whether anyone else has noticed the slow down?

I just came here to post a couple of things, one of which is that, as someone who manually plays each game, .80 feels ... laggy. Slow. Like an extra few partial seconds are happening between actions. That is, the play runs fine, then I click, and the circle spins a little longer than the previous version before I'm able to click to trigger the next play.

I know this is all subjective and not terribly helpful, but it is noticeable.

It's worth checking that you have the same options enabled. It's possible that boxscores or recaps or something got enabled. Or simply at a different point of the season when more trade offers are being considered.

There should not be any noticeable changes in sim speeds.

I have a fairly new MacBook Pro and do not see any lagginess on it. I play in watch mode so I am not pressing the space bar or number keypad during play. Between innings I press the space bar and no lagginess there.

I played out one game on PC with the new .80 patch and nothing had changed in the speed of my game.

Same here. At least nothing discernable to me.

Interesting, and encouraging that it's not a widespread bug. It's definitely there for me--probably 1/4 to 1/3 of a second additional delay at each click. Hopefully can figure out more details, will repost if I am able to identify anything.

It's a lot slower for me. Switching from screen to screen...and definitely when simming a game out in Classic 2D mode, it's slower.

Edit: it actually caused me to look into my PC if my PC was being slower

No. It is definitely slower. Load time, game play and 3rd movements have all slowed down. No change in my playing configuration settings.

4-5 players reported this problem in our community after latest update. still rarely reported but I'm sure there should be issues.

For anyone running into this, if you can report the following, it might help us track down what might be happening.
1. Are the problems while playing out games (ie the 3d is being slow/unresponsive), or while simming out games?
2. Double-check your game settings. Make sure that game recaps were not enabled somehow, for example.
3. Does this happen at a particular point in the season? ie. is a super slow off-season, or slow leading up to the trade deadline? Or simply always a little slower?
4. Check that somehow threading was not disabled (in the File->Settings, the expert tab)
5. Does this happen for all leagues, or only some league? Is this in the Drive for the Pennant mode, the traditional mode, PT? If only some leagues, please upload them to us. If it's all leagues, then likely something local going on.
6. Check on your PC as well. I know my computer sometimes simply "wakes up in a bad mood" and decides to just throttle my processor speeds
7. What machine are you on? Mac/Windows? etc...

The texture changes in theory could impact some of the 3d gameplay on certain graphics cards. But I don't believe any of the other changes should have impacted anything with the speeds. So the more information we can gather, we can investigate if there was something un-intentionally that caused things to slow down.

Confirmed here too. Very jittery playing out games, saving games is noticeable slower. Really disappointing, some of the worst performance I've ever encountered in OOTP. Any way we can roll back to previous ver.?

For number 2, do you mean "save game recaps for:" as mine is just for Human Teams, as I think it always has been. And what exactly does that do?
