modify preseason schedule?

I've exported the NHL schedule (from July 1) so I can update it to the actual 2024-25 schedule. But all games in the export are marked as "regular", no preseason games in it

is there a way to correct the preseason schedule as well? there seem to be too many preseason games between teams that are out of the area (such as between conferences) when in reality most preseason games take place against "local" teams only
