What age are you?

Curious as to the age spread of us OOTP enthusiasts.

71. Last year, on my birthday, my oldest grandson (age 5 then) decided we should build 71 sandcastles in Grandad's honor. We did. It took a long time. But being on the beach with the grandkids was priceless.

I'm 84 and still lovin' every minute of OOTP Baseball.
I've been playing the game since 2002 and OOTP3.
I just converted my Islandian Pro Alliance to OOTP25.
It's been going since 2007.
I am in my 84th season of the dynasty league.

How about that!

I didn't realize my age and the league year are the same.

I'm 73 and I have been a baseball fan since 1958, when my fam moved to St. Louis. I got to watch Stan the Man play; I even shook his hand. Been playing OOTP since around September of 2020. I am hopelessly addicted.

I am 75. I almost said I hated to admit that I am 75 but I guess I should be glad I can admit it.

First MLB game I attended. Age 12, July 1961 packed stadium in Chicago. Yankees vs Sox. Sat LF bleachers with little league team. Yogi Berra played LF and waived to us a couple times between innings. At one time the Sox were up 8-2 but the Yanks scored 2 in the 9th to tie 8-8 and then scored 1 in 10th to win 9-8. WS had 4 HRs so got to hear the scoreboard go off a bunch. Maris had 3 hits including a HR on his way to his historic season. Minnie Minoso made an outstanding defensive play.

While at home during Covid found a radio rebroadcast of the game on the internet. That was really fun listening to.

Turned 56 this year and have been in love with baseball since the 1977 Yankees, though I'm really more interested in historic baseball than modern baseball. I only saw my first major league game last month on a business trip to Chicago. It was the White Sox versus the Cubs at Wrigley Field. I had forgotten my love of the game for a few years, but reaching the inside of the stadium and seeing what is basically a holy site of baseball brought it all flooding back.

Looking over the boxscore, seems like a fun game to have watched in person:

42 and from Chicago here.

First game that I went to that I have actual memory of was a double header, Astros at Cubs. Cubs got shut out in both games and had something like 3 hits combined over both games haha.... brutal.

Like most baseball fans, the first game when you see the diamond and the green grass, you are hooked for life!! My Dad was a sponsor for the Portland Beavers, so he took me to the clubhouse and introduced me to Gabe Paul and a young Lou Piniella! First sim, dice and APBA in early 60’s. Love OOTP!!

35 now. Started playing OOTP at 19 years old. Boy do I miss that haha. I don't think I slept until 7am when i found this in a google search after using several text based baseball sims that all were pretty lackluster. The fact that "fictional" worlds could even happen blew me away. I could stop playing today and I doubt any game in my life will match the hours spent on OOTP. Probably like many of us here.

46 about to be 47 at the end of July. Started playing during covid, found the game on Xbox Game Pass and have not stopped playing ever since! Now a beta tester, a OOTP affiliate on twitch, and make youtube videos and still love playing the game! Just love this dev crew and all the hard work they do and look forward to many more years and hope to hit some of these being 70-80 years old and still playing this game!
