Feeder vs Developmental leagues
I understand the concept of each type of league in that feeder leagues involve players of high school or college age that have not been drafted while developmental leagues involve drafted players still in the minors who have not exceeded the maximum qualifying age. I get that the purpose of both leagues is to provide these players with experience and advancement of their skill levels.
My questions are:
1. Which have you found most beneficial assuming your not running both in a given save or have you just went with both to squeeze out all the developmental opportunities as possible?
2. Other than the main benefits of both proving faster development, feeder leagues providing better pre-draft info on players, and developmental leagues potentially shortening a players time in the minors before being major league ready, are there any other benefits these leagues offer that I'm not considering?
