Setting Ticket Prices Ridiculously High?

Can you set the ticket prices in the off season ridiculously high to increase your income? Is there something in the game that would slow or stop fans from buying tickets, season or game day tickets?

I did this because my team was constantly winning 100 games and making deep playoff runs so I increased ticket prices 10 dollars and my revenue was slightly up but my attendance numbers were down 7-8% I have never tried any higher than that but it did hurt my attendance until I slightly lowered it again.

Pretty sure this would rely on the fan loyalty and the size of your market to an extent ... I haven't run any kind of long term testing on it. But if I have high fan loyalty and we're selling out my stadium and winning, that's usually when I'll consider raising prices incrementally and testing how long we continue to sell out.
