Importing from OOTP24 to OOTP25 problem

When trying to import my OOTP24 game to OOTP25 I get an error message saying it cannot import this game because it was saved on OOTP version -1. I am not understanding this as a am attempting to import from OOTP 24 and running through Steam. Please I need someone to give me step by step instructions as to how to import my game. THANKS!

OOTP Home Screen > Show More Modes > Import OOTP 24 Game -- Import OOTP 24 Game may also show up on its own

Then you have to navigate to the OOTP 24 folder. It might default to the OOTP 25 folder. Click "Up" until you get to the "Out of the Park Developments" folder

Then: Out of the Park Baseball 24 > data > saved games > [your save file name] > world.dat

Click confirm, create a name for the file, and then click "Import now"
