potential contract value error

I'm playing way in the future so contracts are massive, but any time the total value is over 1 billion I get: "The potential contract value may not be more than twice as high as the total contract value if it surpasses the typical above average player salary!"

I get this no matter how I do the contract, even with 0 potential money.

Once numbers get into the billions, you can run into overflow errors. I would suggest going to the game settings, and in the bottom corner there's a button to "adjust the financial coefficient". If you hit that 2 or 3 times, basically that internally will rescale the values to avoid cases like the above.
