Backup Save

Hi, when I back up a save it takes for ever due to the messages and news folder. How can I
1. Quickly delete the contents of the folder/not keep those files

Or

2. Not back up those folders

If I recall, in Setup you can choose whether to retain these kinds of things, scouting reports, game play-by-play - - all the large files. Once into a season, I think you can still change that through League Settings. The options are there to deal with large files and old computers or hard drives with no space.
