Game Logs and box scores

Just curious.
Do any of you actually read the game logs or box scores?

Box score of my team always. If you are of a certain age, you can see the whole story therein.

Still wish the game provided a scoresheet instead of a game log.

Absolutely read them. A box score tells the bulk of the game in an easily understandable format.

Do you mean like the one that Diamond Mind provides? I like that one.

I actually fill out a score sheet on occasion as I watch a game played out. Not too often but it's fun and a nice change of pace once in a while.

I rather see both.

I looked at gam logs to write articles for the saves in my sigs. Otherwise I don't look.

Why do people use different players, different lineups, different strategy, development, talent change randomness, and the development lab, but judge the game on whether it produces historical statistics?

Absolutely. I don't play many games through, unless they have some sort of significance for me (opening day, debut games, playoffs, etc), but I love to read the box score. Somewhat less rarely the game log if something interesting happened. If you grew up reading box scores in newspapers it's very pleasing and it keeps me a bit closer to day to day performance.

Same on the box scores. If the summary and log are toggled off, I sometimes look at AB and try to figure out who knocked in and scored the winning run. You know, the last guy in the lineup with 4 AB got the game-winning hit, unless the next guy did on a SF or a walk (check for walks) or a HBP (check to see if there were any).

Box scores? Yes. I play out every game and review the box score after every game. I occasionally look at other team's games if there is a great performance in the headlines.

Game logs? No, they put me to sleep. I think it would help if they would color code results to draw the eye. To be clear I'm not asking they do that as I still would rarely look at them.

Scoresheets have been asked for many times over the years. If they were added I would review quite a few games.
