injury/fatigue seems off in 25
Long time player. Kudos to developers for making the game "harder" and more realistic. Not as easy to build dynasty and swindle the AI. Nice job. One issue that seems worse is injury/fatigue and cumulative injury effects. I know the sliders can be adjusted but it seems odd most free agents are fragile or wrecked after a few season. Additionally, it seems injured players are dinged with additional "injury proneness" in a way that isn't realistic. Yes, some teams get decimated (i.e. Angles this year - poor Trout) but freak injuries (i.e. getting hit by a pitch) shouldn't lead to a cascade of other injuries that aren't connected to a previous injury. Something seems off in the back end.

100% agree. So many star players in my save are fragile or wrecked by their prime. I turned my injury frequency back down to Normal to see if this would help.

FWIW, I wouldn't hold much weight in those labels. I don't think they can improve if a player hasn't been injured for a while. I've had wrecked players who haven't missed significant time in 3 years. This is also playing with High injuries.

The default settings for fatigue are different in OOTP25 than they've been in years past. This has been discussed in many other threads --- use the search feature and you should find some info.

My advice would be to set short-term injuries to Low and long-term injuries to Very Low. That keeps the vast majority of players on the field, where I get to see them play. I know, it makes the game less challenging, as you rarely have to go to the bench or the organization when a guy is hurt. But I just could not tolerate random injuries to players without a history.
Fatigue is a distinct proposition (although chronic fatigue can lead to injury). Again, there is a slider to deal with problems of durable players becoming fatigued too quickly. I generally move fatigue back to Low. Guys will still need a day off, and pitchers will need recovery time. It seems realistic.
