Tanking?

I managed to get to Perfect but have no chance of competing and will be relegated.I want to dismantle my team and start a Cincinnati theme team,trying the chemistry thing but obviously will have a lot of perfects on my reserve roster.
To be fair to the other teams in my league I’ll wait until Sunday but will I get called for tanking next week?

The devs frown on that sort of thing. Why not just start a separate team from scratch? You get three teams per license, plus a fourth if you have GO.

Selling off high value cards from your roster can be a touchy subject, too. The fact that you have announced your motivation here may help you avoid having your team frozen, but I'm not sure. I tried a similar thing a few years ago and they froze the team, neither allowing any sales nor allowing me to collect achievement PP's.

It would be bad if you sold off mid-week...but you've declared that you'll wait until Sunday. My thinking is that as long as the funds are diverted into maintaining some kind of competitiveness you'll be okay as you transition your main team into a theme team. I don't think forcing people to stay competitive if they no longer wish to be is a good idea, but as long as they sell off when it doesn't impact other teams in their league it shouldn't be a problem.

I sold off my biggest pieces this past Sunday in order to fund tournament team improvements and I haven't been dinged for it. On that front I figure if you replace with cheap but still decent enough players you'll be fine.

I’m doing a Dodger Theme from the beginning without a problem having higher (non-Dodger) cards. If you are worried others will see those higher cards on your roster just deactivate them and they won’t see them.

Thanks for the advice,guys,I think I’ll just persevere and try to get promoted to Perfect again then spend a million quid to compete there !!!

Near where you enter your ID and password, there's a button for create new team. You can have up to 3, + another if you have GO.
