Is it possible to import league settings/structure into a different save?

I put quite a bit of effort into world building a fictional baseball universe in a save. If I wanted to copy certain leagues from that save into a new save for a fresh start with new players but everything else about the leagues' structure and settings intact, is that possible?

Only if you were to save it as a template before you start the game.

Saving it as a template after you start will keep the players.

If you create a new game from a template it does keep the players, but it’s easy enough to delete all the players and create new fictional ones.
