extra tournament

Whenever I create a league and add a tournament. When at the end of the season, I go to edit the league but instead, find a second tournament created, and I can not find the edit option for the league

I'm not sure what could be happening there. There's no Edit option at all at the bottom of the league menu (after selecting the league you want to edit)? The tournament functions are on a separate part of that menu.
